06 Nov 2025 Battle for Arizona Avenue Luncheon Nov 06, 2025 11:30 AM The Battle for Arizona Avenue Luncheon, hosted annually by the Chandler Rotary Club, celebrates the spirited high school football rivalry between Chandler High and Hamilton High. Held just days before the big game, the luncheon brings together players, coaches, school leaders, and community members to honor the tradition of excellence and sportsmanship between the two schools. Proceeds from the event fund two $1,000 scholarships—one for a student-athlete from each school—selected by their coaches. The luncheon also sets the stage for the coveted “Battle for Arizona Avenue” trophy presentation, awarded to the winning team after the game by the Chandler Rotary Club. More than just a pre-game celebration, the luncheon fosters community pride while supporting the academic futures of local student-athletes.
